歷史悠久的巴生港,是肉骨茶的發源地。肉骨茶由一位華人新移民所創,話說當時華人新移民多以勞力維生,一碗簡單的肉骨茶便是價格相宜的進補食品。由藥材熬製的肉骨茶,今日更成為馬拉男女老幼的早餐。老字號肉骨茶筋軟肉滑,汁濃且膠質豐富。 在不夜天吉隆坡的熟食中心,有超過70個美食檔口,眼闊肚窄,很難下決定。在香港已很難吃到的螄蚶,在馬拉仍未受污染,只需要白灼10秒僅僅熟,夠甜夠新鮮;海鮮炒福建麵線,麵線乾身不油膩,微辣惹味。 來到世界天然果園,先品嚐由樹上熟的紅毛丹,清甜、爽口、涼喉。主角是樹上熟的榴槤,品種多達二百種以上,一年兩造,每年6月至8月屬豐收期。韜韜與凱婷從較普通的甘榜開始品嚐,其次是D2,最後是榴槤中的極品─貓山王,齒頰留香。有果后之稱的山竹,是大寒之果,味道微酸但口感清新,其中玻璃種更是清甜爽口。
