Operation-Centric Hardware Description and Synthesis
High-level functional descriptions of hardware are often operation-centric in nature. An operation-centric description specifies the behavior of a system on an operation-by-operation basis. An operation-centric architectural description language based on the formalism of Term Rewriting Systems is presented. This synthesizable TRS language can capture complex hardware behavior concisely and precisely. From the Series:CSE Colloquia - 2000
