Art has long played an important role in helping to convey notions of power and authority. For centuries, court artists used their talents to glorify rulers and potentates. Today’s corporate executives and politicians also recognize the power art has as a status symbol.Now a new exhibition is exploring how modern leaders have used art in the 21st century. ARTS.21 visits the exhibition "Displaying Power - Art as a Strategy of Rule" at the German Historical Museum in Berlin.
