Die umstrittene Eisschnellläuferin und fünfache Olympiasiegerin Claudia Pechstein will in Erfurt wieder an den Start gehen und 2014 an den Olympischen Spielen im russischen Sotschi teilnehmen. Pechstein war aufgrund von Indizien, welche auf Blutdoping hinwiesen, für zwei Jahre gesperrt worden.
