Great news in the world of evolution everyone!!! April 25th is DNA Day. Oh my gosh! Let’s celebrate by… watching Jurassic Park? I am not really sure how you celebrate DNA Day. This day is to commemorate in 1953 when James Watson and Francis Cricks article on the structure of DNA was published, and also the day in 2003 when the Human Genome Project was completed. So interesting, I can’t believe I slept through this stuff in high school. This day is important though, because without DNA technology in law enforcement, episodes of C.S.I. would be 2 minutes long and just be David Caruso saying: “Looks like this crime is a Sudoku…I can’t solve it.”
