Coal Ash Part 2
Producing electricity in the nation’s coal-fired power plants also generates tons of waste. This coal ash is loaded with toxins that researchers link to cancer, organ failure and other serious health problems. That worries people who live by the landfills, abandoned mines or giant ponds where the waste is stored. VOA's Rosanne Skirble follows the story into a rural Pennsylvania community.
