根據政府估計，到了２０３９年香港人口增至八百八十九萬，人口老化問題愈趨嚴重，平均每四個港人就有一個是六十五歲以上長者。現時平均一千個港人，照顧171個六十五歲以上老人，到時，便要照顧454個老人。 一班北上養老的老人，隨著人民幣升值，近年很多被迫回流。在內地設有辦事處的工聯會，近年幫助不少無力在內地生活的老人回流香港。九十二歲的邱來，原本和妻子及三名女兒在內地養老，太太患上腦退化症，女兒們年齡漸大，亦無力照顧他，加上經濟問題，惟有回流香港。但香港無親無故，令他很無奈，自言臨老一家竟被迫分離。 記者：張慧敏
