本片根据江西真实故事改编，讲述的是一位残疾女性自强不息，永不气馁，倍感温馨的人间故事，是一部感恩励志电影，除情节感人外，导演周勇还将江西名胜风景区——龟峰生动地溶入剧情之中，将一部悲情电影拍得十分温馨悦目。 影片描述七十代一位花季少女刘学萍，在一次学校植树活动中，不幸被大火烧伤致残，成为重度烧伤的残疾人，常年要做植皮手术，无法再回到课堂。在母亲的呵护下，她学会了自食其力，成了家里的顶梁柱。随着岁月的流逝，刘学萍学会了上网，却不曾想与网瘾少年贺嘉相遇，两人偶然的碰撞，一幕挽救“问题少年”的动人故事从此展开……
