A retrospective of choreographer William Forsythe, in collaboration with Sadler’s Wells.30.04.2009 Dozens of pendulums hang centimetres from the floor of Tate Modern's Turbine Hall for William Forsythe's devised dance work Nowhere and Everywhere at the Same Time. Running, writhing dancers play with the pendulums, developing chaotic ripples that in turn affect the actions of others. Made in collaboration with Sadler's Wells, this film documents the Focus on Forsythe season, a retrospective of the American choreographer's recent work, and also includes footage of work performed at Sadler's Wells, Fabric nightclub, South London Gallery, and a goods shed at Kings Cross station.
