「以前有兩個有錢人，分別叫黃百萬和李富貴，他們倆整天鬥來鬥去，鬥到沒甚麼可再鬥，便叫司機來鬥。黃百萬叫司機阿旺過來，給他一百元，著他買一幅真跡的蒙娜麗沙的油畫像回來，誰都知一百元根本買不到真跡名畫，黃百萬取笑他很笨。 「李富貴當然不服氣，於是叫司機阿財過來，要他回家看看李富貴在不在家，明知他已經站在面前，但也是回家看一看，李富貴取笑阿財更笨。 「那邊廂其實兩個司機去了喝茶，阿旺跟阿財說，他老闆真笨，一早已知沒可能用一百元買到蒙娜麗沙名畫，於是出來嘆茶，嘆完返去告訴老闆買不到便是了。阿財就跟他說，自己的老闆更加笨，明明就站在面前，也叫他回家看他在不在，正好出來偷得浮生半日閒，等一下回去告訴他不在家就夠了。 「黃百萬和李富貴都以為兩個司機最笨，其實他們才是最笨的，想知道事實的真相，不做井底之蛙被人當成笑柄，很簡單，不要自作聰明，就是最聰明的決定。」
