The Cure - Just Like Heaven
You’ve got to hand it to the Cure, they can even make arena rock seem intimate, as they do on this early '90s underground hit. Amidst the dry ice and spotlights, it's got nifty descending guitar-lines, soaring synths an absolutely genius-simpleton piano solo. Not to mention, singer-songwriter Robert Smith's marvelously moody command of the stage and the mic.
