In Committee From The House Of Commons House of Commons Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates (June 9, 2010) Conservative Party lawyer Arthur Hamilton testified on the controversy surrounding former cabinet minister Helena Guergis and her husband, former Conservative MP Rahim Jaffer. Hamilton told the committee that he had informed Guergis of the allegations of misconduct against her. Guergis still maintains that she does not know why she was removed from caucus. The committee is investigating allegations of improper lobbying against Jaffer.
