Each year on the 30th of April, the students at Chalmers University (Göteborg, Sweden) build wagons that parody major events and news from the previous year, and parade them before hundreds of thousands of people. The event is organized by CCC (Chalmers Cortège Committé), who also arrange a massive construction site on campus (Byggplatsen) for the students to build their wagons. Since its creation in 1909, the Cortège has run every year but two. That way, the 2011’s run of Cortègen was its 100th! This video covers the diifferent days in the construction of wagons, and, eventually, the long awaited Cortège.
