U.S.-Colombia Free Trade Agreement
Vicki Needham talked about the United States-Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement that was signed on November 22, 2006 and the details of the pending trade deal and impact on the two countries. Colombia’s Congress approved the CTPA in 2007, but the U.S. has yet to do so. Colombia is currently our 27th largest goods trading partner with $27.7 billion in total two-way goods traded last year. She also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. This is the second in a three-part series on trade deals.
