"Shine On" By Christopher Max
"Shine On" is the new video from independent U.S. Rock recording artist Christopher Max. The song itself can basically be described as a Rock&Roll Tour-De-Force with a massive, swinging Hip-Hop flavored drumbeat coupled with "Heavier-Than-Zeppelin" guitars and a Big, Phat bassline, all of which are supporting a uniquely psychedelic chord progression bizarrely reminiscent of something you would hear from either J.S. Bach or modern classical composer Philip Glass. Throughout the song, Christopher belts out the catchy Beatles-ish melody with a distinctly Hendrix styled edge mixed with hints of Duran Duran, all whist intense 3 part harmonies of "Shine On" dominate the somewhat Queen-ish sounding choruses, resulting in a Rock-Pop-Funk-Metal extravaganza with an unmistakably "New Classic Rock" feel to it. This fast-paced and totally HOT-looking modern Psychedelic Rock video was produced and directed in Amsterdam during the summer of 2009 by new Rock videographer Ryan McDaniels who is both the son of Christopher Max and the grandson of Pop music legend Gene McDaniels who is in fact Christopher’s father. It has steadily been amassing a host of stunning reviews, even from Rock.Com's own Martini Beerman who apparently thinks it is "...Awesome". You can view the High-Definition version of the video on YouTube RIGHT NOW...HERE: Rock On folks, or should we say..."Shine On"!
