Shoulder Bridge Abduction is a variation on the original Pilates exercise Shoulder Bridge. Abducting the extended leg while keeping it in line with the supporting thigh challenges pelvic stability and the deep core stabilizers of the torso. This exercise strengthens the core, tones the tops of the backs of the thighs and buttocks and flattens the abs.
