一月三十日財經新聞提要：匯控主席葛霖表示維持集團的獨立性對股東有利，他又呼籲商界成立類似二十國集團的組織，同政府以及監管機構對話，共同研究建設新的金融秩序；政府公布，受惠於稅收好過預期，08至09財政年度首9個月錄得309億盈餘；對於有意見認為應該將全部場外交易產品納入中央結算系統，以加強監管，港交所表示有一定難道，會跟中央結算詳細研究；法國巴黎銀行與比利時富通達成協議，同意購入比利時富通保險少數股權及接受更多不良資產。
