Paris is giving Britain’s Lucian Freud top billing in a show touted as a fresh encounter with one of the world's most expensive living artists. Lucian Freud - The Studio at the Pompidou Centre features 47 paintings by the German-born artist, mostly nudes and self-portraits, in the first showing of his work in Paris since 1987.
