Assange kept in solitary confinement
Vaughan Smith, founder of the Frontline Club says well I don’t understand why they appear to be appealing, when a British court has decided that he should have bail. The court has sat twice and decided he should have bail so why are the Swedes appealing, it seems a bit vindictive to me. A huge disappointment for Assange's supporters who believe that the charges are politically motivated punishment for leaking thousands of secret US diplomatic cables which has profoundly embarrassed and enraged the United States. Even the conditions here in Wandsworth prison where he has been held for the past week are particularly harsh, lawyers said. Assange is kept in solitary confinement.
