This Day in History 6/10 on Newsfeed -It is June 10th and you’re on the internet, so to even out all the videos of cats and fat people falling off of tables, here are some historical events that happened today. In 2004, legendary musician Ray Charles Died, allowing his life to be the greatest achievement for actor Jamie Foxx. No word on whether Foxx’s song ‘blame it on the alcohol’ was inspired by this 1935 event in which Dr. Robert Smith created Alcoholic’s Anonymous. And lastly, in 1977, Steve Jobs and Apple sold its first Apple 2 personal computer, which caught on very quickly, unlike Jobs’ attempt to make jeans and turtlenecks popular amongst young people. ‘Party on the bottom, boring on the top.’
