Reuters reports that China still sees risks from euro zone debt problems and increased its holdings of European government bonds to help the region, the Chinese foreign ministry said on Thursday... the Wall Street Journal reports that GM (GM) and Toyota (TM) have cut or are planning to curb output of thousands of vehicles in the U.S. and Europe due to concerns about a shortage of critical parts made in Japan, ...the Nikkei reports that Toshiba's (TOSBF) nuclear plant project in Texas is likely to be postponed due to lingering woes at Japan's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant... Bloomberg reports that Top Republican tax writers in Congress aren't endorsing a call by Cisco Systems (CSCO), Google (GOOG), and others for a temporary tax break on repatriating profits held offshore. …And finally, Reuters reports that Sanofi-aventis (SNY) plans to expand its animal health business through small acquisitions following the end of a potential JV with Merck (MRK).
