Faulty materials have forced Boston Scientific (NYSE:BSX) to voluntarily recall it’s I-Cross Coronary Imaging Catheters. The company received reports that there were catheter tip detachments due to brittle material.  Products affected by the recall were distributed only to hospitals in the U.S. and its territories. The company will replace all returned devises with Atlantis SR Pro Coronary Imaging Catheters. A number of potential health risks have been associated with this type of failure include vessel wall injury, foreign body embolization and even death.Boston Scientific has a potential upside of 8.8% based on a current price of $7.04 and an average consensus analyst price target of $7.66.
