Allegiant Travel receives FAA approval to operate Boeing 757
Allegiant (ALGT) has obtained approval from the Federal Aviation Administration to begin operating the Boeing (BA) 757-200 aircraft type. Andrew C. Levy, Allegiant Travel Company President said, "This is an important day for Allegiant. The addition of the Boeing 757-200 will play an important role in our company’s future growth. Our operations team worked long and hard to ensure the completion of this certification and we thank them for their dedication in achieving this important goal." Allegiant Travel (NASDAQ:ALGT) has a potential upside of 10% based on a current price of $49.13 and an average consensus analyst price target of $54.04.Allegiant Travel is currently above its 50-day moving average (MA) of $45.22 and above its 200-day of $45.11. In the last five trading sessions, the 50-day MA has climbed 0.76% while the 200-day MA has risen 0.18%.
