つくばに巨大ショッピングセンター
茨城県つくば市のつくばエクスプレス研究学園駅前に３１日、大型ショッピングセンター「ｉｉａｓ（イーアス）つくば」がオープンした。店舗面積は阪神甲子園球場二つ分の約８万５千平方メートル、テナントは２２１店でいずれも北関東最大級。服飾店や飲食店のほか、筑波大発のベンチャー企業が開発した介護用ロボットスーツの試着スタジオなど、研究都市ならではのテナントも入る。
