港人婆婆內地花光積蓄治病返港 將入住老人院
一名96歲本身是香港人的婆婆，97年退休後返回內地定居，由於體弱多病，花光所有積蓄，早上由內地的救護車送往邊境，再由香港的救護車送往北區醫院接受檢查。 一直協助婆婆的立法會議員黃國健表示，婆婆其實不願意來港，但所有儲蓄已經用光，唯有到香港入住老人院，並申請綜援。 黃國健又說，如果政府能夠放寬生果金離港限制，婆婆能夠跟隨自己意願，繼續在內地生活。 高等法院早前裁定，一年最多56天的綜援離港限制，是違憲違法。社署因應裁決，即時暫停有關限制。政府會在今日稍後決定是否上訴。
