"Quartz Mountain Flyer" passenger excursions will be offered to the public on eleven Saturdays this year. Two-hour narrated round trips for up to 130 persons will depart from Quartz Mountain (intersection of Routes 44 and 44A) at 10:00 a.m. and include a brief stop-over at Lone Wolf. Coach ticket prices are $16 for adults and $11 for children aged 4-12; infants ride free. A very limited number of one-way locomotive cab rides are available for an additional $25.
