During his career Cohen has taught at Ealing School of Art, Chelsea College of Art & Design and Wimbledon College of Art. Cohen was Professor and Chair of Fine Art at the Slade from 1988 to 1990. Cohen’s discussion of his 1965 painting In That Moment forms part of a series of interviews with the artist about his works in Tate’s collection. Tate undertakes research interviews with artists to establish core information about works in the collection and to record the artists’ thoughts about how their works should be interpreted, displayed and cared for.
