SC favours govt probe into diversion of MNREGA funds in Orissa
The Supreme Court has come down heavily on Orissa for diverting funds and non-implementation of rural employment scheme, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee (MGNREGA), in the state. The apex court has directed the Centre to investigate the mis-handling of funds and submit the report in a time-bound manner.
