U.S. Middle East envoy George Mitchell says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas had a "serious discussion on core issues" during peace talks in the Egyptian resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh. The Israeli and Palestinian leaders sat down for a three-way meeting Tuesday with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The talks continue on Wednesday in Jerusalem. VOA’s Robert Raffaele has more.
