เรื่องดำเนินหลังจาก Macross 7 อีก 25 ปี ในกองยานอาณานิคม Macross Frontier 11 ขณะที่ Sheryl Nome นักร้องชื่อดังกำลังเล่นคอนเสิร์ต ศัตรูลึกลับได้บุกโจมตีกองยาน ทำให้ต้องหยุดการแสดง Ranka Lee ที่มาดูคอนเสิร์ต จึงต้องหนีภัย พบกับศัตรูที่ทะลวงเข้ามาได้ ขณะที่ Saotome Alto ที่รับทำงานเป็นนักบินในชุดสูทในงานแสดงคอนเสิร์ต ได้เข้าช่วยเหลือ โดยการขับ VF-25 ที่นักบินโดนฆ่าตายไปแล้ว
