Captain Tsubasa gives cheer to Tokyo’s bid
For nearly 30 years, Yoichi Takahashi has breathed life into Captain Tsubasa, a footballing hero who had his heyday in the '80s. Since the comic book first kicked off, it’s shifted more than 70 million copies all over the world. Today, Takahashi is here to cheer on Tokyo's bid for the 2016 Olympic Games — and he sees manga as the city's secret weapon.
