PG Tips brand spokesman Johnny Vegas and his knitted monkey turned up on British televisions again over Christmas to promote the Christmas giveaway of a mini Monkeh with packs of PG Tips tea. Monkey, voiced by comedian Ben Miller, is woken up in the middle of the night by an overexcited Al (Vegas) who informs him that Santer Christmas Claws has visited and brought treats. Clearly a fan of PG Tips, Father Christmas has collected the free puppets from promotional packs and filled Monkeys stocking with them.
