English soccer versus video sharing
As the English soccer season kicks off, more parties join the Premier League's class action suit against Google over copyright. English soccer's Premier League Ltd and music publisher Bourne & Co announced this week that eight more parties joined their lawsuit charging Google Inc and its YouTube online service with deliberately encouraging copyright infringement. Google has said it is abiding by existing law that protects Internet services from being liable for hosting unauthorized content so long as steps are taken to promptly remove content after a complaint is received. Matt Cowan reports for Reuters. FEATURED SPEAKER: Dan Johnson, Chief Spokesman, Premier League.
