It began with the Blazers mascot, Scorch, sitting in a chair on a red carpet in the middle of the pitch. Three scantily clad women then competed to give the mascot the best lap dance in front of hundreds of fans. According to the New York Daily News, fans were furious over the show, especially those who took their young kids to the game. They put this red carpet down and there's Scorch sitting in a chair, said Catherine Smith, a passionate Blazers fan. And you see girls walking up to him and start giving him a lap dance. And it's like what's going on. I kind of had to let the shock run through me, it was really weird.
