津波で町長が亡くなった岩手・大槌町で、選挙の日程が決まった。町の選挙管理委員会によると、避難所にいる住民が、7月中に仮設住宅へ入居できるめどが立ったことや、投票所が確保できるめどが立ったことなどから、町長選を8月28日に町議選とあわせて実施することに決まった。
