Talking Parrot Quota for the People in Chaco
The Talking Parrot is an established resident here, for many they act as mascots and are part of the folklore of the Chaco. Demand for them means that every year thousands are caught and smuggled out of the region and then sold abroad. It’s an important source of income for some of the indigenous people.
