iReport — I selected the following sentence for my assignment:“There are more slaves now than any point in human history.”My request on my paper plane: “Slavery must be stopped now! This is an assignment for everybody on the Planet! PASS IT ON!”We have to pass on the request around the Globe to each other to finally stop slavery which is one of the most horrific inventions of Mankind. We have to pass on this mandate to the next generations as well. To stop slavery there has to be a real grassroots work in each Nations around the World and when we all come together with the collective wish to end this shameful chapter of history then we will succeed.I needed my Community with its great Aloha Spirit to do this assignment. I approached strangers and we became friends. I even found Japanese tourists from Tokyo, Japan, who participated, with help of a volunteer translator. I could not go to the beach as I planned because we had a very stormy day. I fully understand now how important is that everybody would recognize the magnitude of the importance to finally stop slavery.
