Old Games Made New
If you’re like me, you've played Pacman. You've played Galaga. You've played Bionic Commando. But ya don't play them anymore. And for good reason. The graphical updates to videogames have been incredible these past couple of decades, and while there is still a nostalgic joy from playing these classic games, they're just not on the same level as what we've come to play today. Fortunately for us, the market of downloadable content has been opened up and with it comes plenty of re-imagined, redone, and totally fresh takes on our old classics. Galaga Legions has just come out, and is hot on the tails of a summer filled with classic arcade rereleases. For the gaming market, these games have already proved to be profitable and immensely popular ventures, which gamers can get over Xbox Live or PS3 Online for just a mere $10 a pop. Bionic Commando: ReArmed, which received a huge graphics overhaul gave us an immensely fun gaming experience, and brings back of course great memories. With hope, gaming companies will keep up the trend of remaking the classics, as they have already met with plenty of success thus far. Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo all have retro gaming titles available for purchase and download on their respective online networks. So what are you waiting for?
