411VM Skateboarding - Issue 64 - Openers and Intro with Bob Burnquist
Incredible talent is popping up all over the globe, and Brazil is at the top of the rail. We felt it was time to showcase a few of Brazil’s amazing talents. One of the true global ambassadors of skateboarding, Bob Burnquist, hosts this issue. Spot Check: Bob's backyard skatepark. Controlled Chaos: featuring Carlos de Andrade, Adelmo Jr., Fabio Cristiano and Rodrigo Lima. Hot Wheels: Rodrigo Petersen, Cezar Gordo and Alex Carolino put their stamp on what is probably the single greatest display of young Brazilian talent to date. Following up on the Hot Wheels segment, Brazilian Am Andre Genovesi comes correct with a Wheels of Fortune. Fabrizio Santos has an amazing Profile, contrasting and comparing life in Brazil and California. Day in the Life: Firm pro Rodrigo Teixeira checks in in his hometown of Sao Paulo. Come along with TX and friends as they show us some incredible local spots and visit Siglio, a skate shop owned by Rodrigo's brother. Profiles: Nilton Neves and Og de Souza. Nilton's all smiles as he cruises through any terrain and speaks about his good friend Og de Souza, who skateboards with no legs. Once you've seen what he can do and the obvious joy he takes from his family, friends and skateboarding, your view of personal limitations will never be the same.
