For the lowest rates try aiming for a weekly or even a monthly rate.  For example if the daily rate is 59.99 you can often rent that same vehicle for 259.99 for the week. A saving of over 30% if you used that vehicle for all 7 days. As a general rule if you are planning on using the vehicle for 5 days or more your best bet is the weekly rate.
