The service launched earlier this year offers mobile users the choice of connecting over cellular or WiFi networks. The mobile phone application can be integrated with Skype, Google Talk, Window Live Messenger as well as Twitter. The company's chief executive Avi Shechter explains that the aim of fring is to empower users by offering greater choice in the mobile environment. But will mobile operators play along?
