Writing L.A.: Urban Noir, Postmodern Malaise, and Suburban Angst in the Capital of the 21st Century is the third annual "Los Angeles" conference sponsored by the USC Libraries and the Los Angeles Institute for the Humanities.  The "Poetry Readings" program includes authors and poets Chris Abani ("Daphne’s Lot") and Carol Muske-Dukes ("Sparrow: Poems"). Both authors read selections from their and other author's works.
