May 18: Vodafone takes a hit on Indian business
Vodafone has just reported annual results. The mobile network provider met City forecasts and said it will return to growth this year but took a hit on its key Indian business.  Sarah O’Connor of Lex talks to Daniel Garrahan about why India is now an expensive and hostile place for Vodafone. They ask if the $10.9bn paid by the former CEO Arun Sarin in 2007 for a controlling stake in India's Hutchison Essar is starting to look like an expensive mistake.
