Goldman Sachs Dips 2.3% on Allegations It’s Delaying Documen
Shares of Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) are down 2.34% in today’s trading, after Lehman Brothers said it has asked a bankruptcy court to compel Goldman to hand over documents relating to a probe into market rumors that could have accelerated Lehman's collapse, according to Reuters. The bankrupt Lehman Brothers Holdings has accused Goldman Sachs of intentionally trying to delay providing documents, saying that the company is moving at "a glacial pace," hoping for the statute of limitations to lapse before it turns over the documents. Lehman wants all documents within two weeks after the court's decision, the report said. Shares of the company are down 2.39% at $137.37.
