Readers of William Safire's On Language columns  might really like Quizlet. If you know Safire's column, you'll know that it typically takes a deep dive into the genesis of words. Whenever I read it (which is not often enough these days), I typically walk away with a few more words in my vocabulary. For word or language lovers, Quizlet is a fun way to keep your mind attuned to those many unfamiliar words read or heard, but more often than not are never used.
