Future of Human Spaceflight
Scott Pace and Mark Matthews talked about the future of human space flight as the last space shuttle launch was scheduled in the morning. They also responded to telephone calls and electronic. Among the topics they discussed were the loss of jobs in Florida tied to the space program, robot technology, and space tourism.  House Science, Space, and Technology Committee Ranking Member Eddie Bernice Johnson and Representative Mo Brooks, also a member of the committee, spoke separately by phone about the end of the shuttle program, the future of U.S. space exploration, and lessons learned from the program.
