Gov. Schwarzenegger Visits US Troops in Iraq
Nov 17 - Arnold Schwarzenegger, governor of California and Hollywood action hero, visits U.S. soldiers at Camp Victory in northern Baghdad, Iraq.  Schwarzenegger entered the Austrian army in 1965 for his compulsory year of service, but temporarily went AWOL (Absent Without Leave) during basic training so he could compete in a bodybuilding competition. He won, and later returned to his base. More..Schwarzenegger plans to visit a number of U.S. military bases in Iraq during his short visit, his office announced last week.
