Their classic board game "Mensch ärgere dich nicht", known in other parts of the world as "Ludo" or "Parcheesi", is 100 years old and has sold 70 million copies.Today game designers must have clever ideas and be multimedia savvy. Schmidt relies on partner companies for ideas for new games, but takes care of the production and marketing itself.
