錢果豐為八達通事件致歉 陳碧鏵去留由八達通決定
港鐵主席錢果豐在港鐵董事會特別會議後，為八達通事件向市民致歉。 他說，八達通運用客戶個人資料時，應該顧及客戶私隱及感受，八達通須盡快刪除不必要的客戶個人資料。八達通已向地鐵確保停止向第三者提供資料作市場推廣。 錢果豐說，為挽回市民信心，已責成港鐵在八達通董事會代表，盡快處理八達通管理問題，亦會研究個人資料私隱專員公署的初步調查結果並落實建議，但八達通行政總裁陳碧鏵的去留問題，要由八達通董事會處理。八達通今後會重新聚焦電子貨幣業務之上。
