Greenwood Cultural Center Scenic Tour, Tulsa
Located in the historic Greenwood district, once known as the "Black Wall Street" of America. Also home to the Mabel B. Little Heritage House and the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame. There is also a photographic exhibit of the tragic 1921 riot, as well as a gift shop. The Greenwood Cultural Center sponsors and promotes educational, charitable and cultural events which preserves African-American heritage, advocates and supports historical events for disadvantaged children of all races, creeds and religions and generates positive images within the Greater Tulsa community and is supported extensively through volunteerism. A $25 fee applies for groups of 20 or more. Meal function can also be arranged for groups.
